I remember a warm room. Its walls were made out of wooden planks and its floor was covered in a green carpet. It looked like the inside of a cabin, or a basement. There was a window that showed a forest view (I don't recall if it was snowing or not, but it was definitely cold outside). The room had some decor, but nothing particularly notable: a table, picture frames, a lamp, and some small souvenirs. If I had to give the room a smell, it would be the smell of a dry carpet.
I was sitting down in a sofa (red, with a coarse fabric). Before me stood a tall, lanky man. He was dressed in a formal suit and a fedora. I call him a man, yet he was dinstinctly inhuman. His face was grey and wrinkled, and I'm not sure if he had eyes. Despite his unnatural appearance, I was calm. He was talking to me about something, but I don't remember what he was saying. Perhaps he was only moving his mouth without saying anything at all.
My most vivid memory of this dream is from right before I woke up, as it usually is with dreams. The sound of my alarm gradually faded in. The man stopped talking, and smugly (or knowingly?) grinned. He extended his left arm to the side, pointing at something unseen. My gaze followed, and I saw a grandfather clock. And then I woke up.
In retrospect, I believe this dream was inspired from my recent viewing of Twin Peaks, the forest and cabin imagery are certainly remeniscent of the places shown there. Though I still can't place where that man could've come from. It seems as if the more I describe him the more his image fades from my mind. Perhaps recording dreams is a much more delicate task than I once believed.
I remember a large, dark room. It looked like the indoor venue of a fancy hotel. Its floor was made out of cold white ceramic tiles, its walls had some sparse illumination, and I could not see its ceiling - it could have been an endless void for all I know. The venue was filled with a variety of people - I even recognized some family members among the crowd. All of us were confused as to why we were in this room.
Then, from the sky, God appeared. He looked like a massive golden chandelier. Each candle housed a burning inferno. He was either floating or hanging from some unseen point. Despite his unorthodox appearance, in my dream there was no doubt in my mind that this was God. God moved violently, attempting to crush or burn as many people as he could.
...and that's all I remember. I'm not sure where this dream could come from. The venue resembled one I visited a few times in my childhood - it was a hotel where some events were held, except that place had carpeted floors (very fluffy, I used to play on them). The tiles resembled the ones in a church I attended a lot back then (fitting, I suppose). God's appearance reminds me of a design I had for a game I was planning some years ago, it was a boss character that would chase the player around a tower.
I was in an empty mall. I knew this mall, I had visited it several times before, except this time there were no lights on. The darkness extended to the outside as well, as the windows showed only a dark void. I started the dream in a coffee shop, looking for a place to sit (despite all the tables being empty). Once I sat down, I started talking to someone. Thought I don't recall their appereance, I believe this was my grandfather whom I was talking to.
Once I finished the conversation, I left the shop. In the mall proper, I noticed that I could not see the ceiling. Instead, it looked as if there was an endless space in its stead. I walked around the mall, glancing at the void above. Eventually, I noticed something up there, a massive, snake-like body slithering among the darkness. I saw its face, it had no eyes, only a circle of teeth. And then I woke up.
I have no possible explanation as to where this dream could come from.
